Trauma -  A.B.I. Acquired Brain Injury
As for A.B.I. we use a treatment plan that will provide structure into a Brain Injured persons life. This can be achieved by providing different tools to the individuals including repetition, goal setting and various vocational opportunities. Redirection to the task at hand is very important as is a team approach involving a Case manager, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist and Rehabilitation Therapist and counselling.

Chronic Pain Management
This program is offered to individuals who have difficulty coping with pain and with pain management as a result of a personal or work-related condition or injury. Our counsellors will provide the client with coping strategies including:

• Goal Setting

• Psychological Approaches to Pain

• Stress and Coping Techniques

• Sleep Deprivation

Our counsellors are experienced in identifying the various factors that may prolong a physical or mental health disability and impede an individual in his or her return to normal activities of daily living or work. Our goal is to minimize the impact of a disability on a person�s ability to perform these tasks.

As such, We like to meet face-to face with the client to assess levels of functioning such as daily living, cognition, depression, anxiety, stress, coping skills, and personal hygiene to provide a comprehensive assessment. This process includes input from all the stakeholders.
